Greenville - Rose G. (Lambaer) Rowey, 99, formerly of Mendon Road, passed away peacefully in Courtland Place Nursing Home with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Moses Rowey.

Born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Henri and Anna (Goffart) Lambaer.

She was an Executive Secretary for the Woonsocket Housing Authority for several years prior to retiring.

Rose was Valedictorian of Woonsocket High Schools graduating class of 1936. She then went on to obtain her Bachelors Degree in Business from Simmons College.

She is survived by one daughter, Debora Stevens and her husband Bruce of Swansea, MA. Two grandchildren, Kristina Stevens of Cambridge, MA. and Craig Stevens and his wife Karyn of San Diego, CA. And one great grandson, Beckett. She was also the mother of the late Bobby Rowey.

Her funeral and burial will be private. The S.DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd, Woonsocket, RI. 02895 is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is respectfully omitted.
