Woonsocket — Roger G. Menard, 83, of Front St. Crepeau Court, died Tuesday, November 27, 2018 in Landmark Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Delia (Monteiro) Menard.
Born in Woonsocket, son of the late Raymond and Orpha (Carpentier) Menard.
He was owner, operator of A-OK Industries for several years and also a hair dresser and General store owner in Nasonville, RI.
Mr. Menard was in the United States Navy Reserve for 8 years.
Roger loved to go fishing, going for walks, cooking, traveling, and enjoyed playing cribbage with his daughter Linda every Sunday afternoon. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by four sons, Gerard Menard and his wife Linda of FL, Paul Menard and his companion Alice Forcier of Burrillville, RI, Daniel Menard and his wife JoAnne of Swansea MA., Robert Menard and his wife Susana of Pascoag, RI. Two daughters, Amanda Feola and her husband Steve of California, and Linda King and her husband Jeff of Uxbridge Ma. One sister, Pauline Paul of Mohegan, RI. Sixteen, grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
He also was the father of the late Roger G. Menard and brother of the late Henry Menard, Richard Menard and Doris Cazeault.
His funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9:30 AM from the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, RI 02895 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in St. Theresa Church Dion Drive in Nasonville, RI 02830. Burial will be in St. Theresa Cemetery, Nasonville, RI.
