Jeanne H. Pelletier, 65, passed away peacefully and courageously, on Monday February 5th, surrounded by her family. She was sent to heaven wrapped in cherished memories and love.

Jeanne was born to Leo and Margret (Berard) Malboeuf in Woonsocket, Rhode Island and raised alongside her siblings Claudette Marquis, Paul Malboeuf, Bob Malboeuf and the late Suzanne O’Neil.

Jeanne worked as a nurse at Woonsocket Hospital and Mount Saint Rita Health Centre from 1972 – 1995. She wed, Richard Pelletier in 1980 and together they have raised 2 children - Christopher Pelletier and Michelle Yablonski. She felt immense pride in her children and was passionately involved in their upbringing through numerous community involvements. She was an avid volunteer in various activities including Boy Scouts, sports, dance and school functions throughout the years.

She looked on with a proud heart as she welcomed a daughter-in-law, Jiliane, a son-in-law, Devon, and Chris and Jiliane’s 3 children Cameron, Natalie and Josephine, whose hugs she would never grow tired of. She was always eager to hear all of their daily stories and accomplishments and in return they undoubtedly felt the love and compassion of their Mom and Memere.

Jeanne spent her time her on earth serving God’s mission vibrantly and constantly, giving herself to others though her nursing career, friendships, those in need, and unfailingly always reaching out with a smile to all that she encountered. Her spirit, humor and compassion will be missed in our journey going forward but we will remember her laugh and fortitude in our hearts forever.
