North Smithfield — Mary A. (Fazzio) Grondines, 85, of Village Way, passed away peacefully, on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 in Miriam Hospital with her family by her side.

Born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Charles and Philomena (Cevino) Fazzio.

Mary worked Bryant University for 13 years prior to retiring where she developed many lasting friendships.

She also worked as a seamstress in the area for many years. Mary enjoyed sewing and being in the company of her family, especially her nephews and nieces whom she treated as her own children.

She is survived by two brothers, Salvatore (Samuel) Fazzio of Cumberland, RI, and Richard Fazzio of Woonsocket, RI. One sister, Dee Capuano of Warwick, RI.

Several nephews and nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces.

She was also the sister of the late Charles Fazzio, Frank Fazzio, Angie Kane and Jennie Wright.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 2, 2018 at 10 AM in St. Anthony’s Church Greene St. Woonsocket, RI 02895. Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery Farm St. Blackstone, MA. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours are omitted.
