Forestdale - Laura L. (Bourque) Malboeuf, 83 of School St. died Friday, December 28, 2018 in the Friendly Nursing Home with her family by her side.

She was the wife of Normand A. Malboeuf Sr. Born in Cumberland, daughter of the late Edmund and Alice (LaRose) Bourque.

Laura worked for Coby Glass for several years and also for Manville laundromat as an attendant for several years prior to retiring. She was a big fan of the Red Sox and the Patriots. She was an avid ironer, loved to read, go to the movies, do puzzles and most of all was a huge Disney fan.

Besides her husband Normand she is survived by her 3 children, JoAnn Sylvestre of Manville, Normand A. Malboeuf Jr. and his wife Keri of Cumberland, and Dennis Malboeuf and his wife Melissa of Lincoln. 1 brother, Armand Borque of Cumberland. 2 sisters, Jeannette Andrews of N. Attleboro and Mary Jane Phaneuf of Milford. 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

She was also the sister of the late Rita Whalen.

A Funeral Home Service will be held on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at 4 PM in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd, Woonsocket, RI 02895. Burial will be private; Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours are from 2-4 PM prior to the service.

I am so saddened to hear of Laura’s passing . She was honestly the kindest , most soft hearted lady that I have ever met . Sending my love thoughts and prayers to Norman my cousin and his family . No more suffering as she now lives in heaven with her dearly departed until we all meet again .
