Woonsocket — Jacqueline M. (Reith) Riquier 88 of Rhodes Ave. formerly of Logee St. passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 in St. Antoine Residence with her family by her side.
Born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Joseph and E. Louise (Monet) Reith. She was the wife of the late Raymond W. Riquier.
In addition to raising her six children she worked as a Stitcher for Narragansett Knitting Mills in Woonsocket for forty years and also Sadwin Curtains and Old Whaler Candle prior to retiring, in order for her to take care of her grandson Jake Robbins.
Jackie enjoyed spending time with her family, watching the Red Sox, figure skating, spending time at her pool, spending time at the ocean and playing Bingo. She enjoyed cooking for her family especially during the Holidays and listening to Christmas music. Jackie also liked being taken out to eat once in a while.
She is survived by her three sons, Ronald Riquier and his wife Esta of Milford, MA. Richard Riquier of Cumberland and Robert Riquier of Woonsocket. Two daughters, Christine Barbrie and her husband Joseph of CA and Celeste Robbins and her husband Richard of Burrillville, RI. Ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was also the mother of the late Jacqueline Hubert and sister of the late Shirley Chofay and Joseph Reith.
Her funeral and burial will be private. The S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, RI 02895 is in charge of the arrangements.
