Florida — Deborah Sue Pitts, 54, of E. Orangeside Rd. Formerly of Woonsocket, died
Saturday, December 8, 2018 in the Kindred Central Hospital in Florida with her family by her side.
Born in Woonsocket, daughter of Vennie (Scurry) Pitts of Woonsocket and the late Willie James Pitts.
Deborah worked for Hasbro Toy Co. for several years.
She loved going to the beach and drawing. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends especially her grandchildren. She was the life of the party and was known as a social butterfly.
Besides her mother Vennie she is survived by her son Jarrod Pitts and his wife Michelle of Florida. Six siblings, Michael Pitts of Woonsocket, Brenda Pitts of Providence, Sandra Pitts of Woonsocket, Sylvia Roper of FL. Leslie Bell and her husband Tyrone of Woonsocket, and Tyrone Pitts and his wife Jamie Pitts of Providence. Three grandchildren, Kelsey Collard, Natalie Pitts, and Layla Pitts.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 12 noon in St. James Baptist Church 340 South Main St Woonsocket, RI 02895. Burial will be in Union Cemetery North Smithfield, RI.
Relatives and friends are invited. Visitation will be from 11 - 12 noon prior to the service. The S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, RI 02895 is in charge of the arrangements.
